The guide: powerful decisions combine intuition and rational thinking

  1. State analysis and phrasing the objective/goal
    • How much does this decision affect your current well-being?  How will this decision help you?
    • Who will be affected by this decision?
    • Rate the significance of this decision on a scale of 1-10 (1: least important, 10: most important)
  2. Finding smart solutions
    • What are the advantages and disadvantages of each of the decision?
    • Ground anchor: How do you feel here? Physically? Emotionally? What are your initial thoughts or impulses?
  3. Transfer
    • Reinforcing advantages: Which needs are fulfilled with this decision? Who else will benefit from this decision?
    • Mitigating disadvantages: How can you effectively manage the disadvantages of this decision?
