Complete the daily task protocol
- On a high-level – what keeps you busy during the a typical working day? For example: emails, problem-solving, employee conversation, planning … list the tasks in the left colum first.
- Assign percentages to each task header, which should add-up to 100% (Even though your days sometimes feel like 150% at least 😉)
- Finally assign the categories:
- Â MÂ Â = Management
- Â LÂ Â Â = Leadership
- DIY = expert work
- Summ-up the totals per category. Your result looks like this:
- 50% of my time is typically spent on DIY=expert work
- 35% on management stuff
- 15% on leadership
- Define your goal: what percentage split would you like to achieve going forward?
- XX% DIY
- XX% management
- XX% leadership
- WHY? What would be the positive assumed impact
- on yourself?
